We booked a Superior room. The hotel is located in busy street, but we got a quiet room at the backside with a nice view on the valley. Breakfast buffet with sufficient choice. With some negotiation we could avoid a 3% extra charge for Visa payment.
Good hotel with nice views from the room of the mountains. It is a very correct hotel of 3*. Recommended.
It is not worth to book a higher level room. When we arrived to the hotel at 8:00, the staff offered us an upgrade with immediate check- in (usd 30), an early check-in for a fee (usd 25) or we had to wait until 14:00. The check-in time was not in line with our booking confirmation (12:00). The atmosphere and service was very cold. Breakfast offer was poor.
The place was totally clean and seemed very new. The on demand breakfast items (omelette, Vietnamese soup) were good, and there was quite a large selection at breakfast.
The bed was hard (like most places in Vietnam), and the breakfast buffet hot items seemed a bit old even as soon as the restaurant opened. The fitness room stated in the description does not exist.
the view from the balcony is soooooo good n the breakfast is awesome
We had a room with a fabulous view
There's no elevator so if you're up on the top floor, it's quite some stairs. Also a pitty that you have to go outside the hotel to get to the dining room. Take care to have enough cash because the Credit card terminal often does not work
A really great comfortable little hotel, no lift as is the case with lots of small hotels but the front desk were only too pleased to assist with luggage. They do say that they will be installing a lift which would be great for older people. The hotel is not in the total middle of the town, its only a short walk to the shops but its location is ideally situated to afford peace and quiet and the view from the balcony is fabulous.
The view is very nice.
When we arrived they asked for our passport. They didn't want to do a photocopy (like everywhere in Vietnam), they said it was a law in Sapa because it's near China border. The receptionist was insisting.. WiFi didn't work in the room, our room has no air conditioner (as it's indicated in this website). The cleanest of the room was limit. The pictures did not represent the room, our room was extremely basic.
Location was cOnvenient to main road and eating places
Very tired hotel- phone didn't work, Internet didn't work. Really the only good thing was the view.
Not 5 star but nothing up there is, clean and comfortable. This hotel is as good as any in SAPA, great views from your room and is right in town. Arrived on the early train, one minute walk from the bus drop off, had breakfast and our room was ready by 8.30 am.
